Mitsuro Hikime Wax

By mixing and boiling beeswax (wax extracted from beehives) and pine resin (natural resin extracted from pine trees), Mitsuro is created as a material suitable for modeling.

When Mitsuro is heated to an appropriate temperature, it becomes supple and flexible and can be expressed in shapes.

The process of replacing the fine, elegant lines and curved surfaces that can only be expressed with Mitsuro with metal and giving them shine is full of surprise and joy.

Would you like to come across an original work that is a bit different?
